This Privacy Policy sets forth the basic guideline for personal information which Steelstyle, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "our", or "us") obtains and uses.

Personal information refers to information relating to living individuals, including identifying information such as name and date of birth that might be used to distinguish individuals. As an entity handling such personal information, we establish the following "Protection of Personal Information" and abide by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, other related laws and regulations, as well as this Privacy Policy.

1. Protection of Personal Information

We abide by our corporate policies prescribing acquisition, use, and provision of information relating to individual customers, including but not limited to the names, addresses, and telephone numbers (hereinafter referred to as "personal information"). The aforementioned corporate policies are in accordance with the scope of our business.
We take appropriate measures to prevent the leakage, loss or damage of personal information. In the event of leakage, loss or damage of personal information, we shall take immediate action to rectify the situation.
We comply with applicable laws and regulations as well as guidelines and other standards relating to the protection of personal information established by the government. We respond to customers' inquiries about personal information sincerely and promptly.
We continually improve our personal information management system to handle personal information with which a specific customer can be identified (including personal information which can be readily collated with other information and thereby identify a specific individual).

2. Purpose of Use

We specify the purpose of utilizing personal information as explicitly as possible. We use personal information within the scope as specified below, unless we obtain the individual's consent beforehand, or the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other related laws and regulations permit exceptional handling.

Upon request from the customer themselves, we shall disclose their personal information unless it interferes with proper conduction of our business. The customer shall present a document as we specify, in order to indicate that they are the individual concerned.
In the event that the disclosed personal information is factually inaccurate, we shall correct such information immediately. Should a customer requests suspension of use of their personal information, we shall comply with the request promptly.

5. Use of Cookies

In order to enhance the experience of repeat users, we utilize cookies in some of the contents of our website.
A cookie is a system where the server information is stored in the computer of the customer who accesses a website.
For example, cookies record the date and time the user accessed a certain website, the number of access to the website, functions which the customer selected last time, etc. Cookies can identify different computers, but personal information (e.g. name, address, telephone number, email address, etc.) will not be obtained.

6. Acquisition of Access History

Our website records customers' access history in order to maintain our website and improve our services.
Access history (access log) includes the customer's domain name and IP address which were used to access our website, information on the browser and operating system, access date and time, viewed pages, etc. However, information that can identify an individual will not be included.

7. Handling Personal Information for Each Product and Service

Our individual products, services, promotions may set out separate policies for how personal information is handled, including purposes of use of personal information, provision to third parties, security, contact information, etc. In the event that the aforementioned separate policies contain different or exceptional provisions, they shall take precedence over this Privacy Policy.

8. Revisions

Our Privacy Policy may be revised without advance notice as a result of amendments to the related legislation or changes in our corporate policies.
